About Advance Employment.

Advance Employment understands the importance of not only the J-1 work program, but also the cultural exchange portion of the program. All of our work locations have worked with Advance Employment and international university students for 5 years or more, and welcome new students eagerly, along with the culture and interest they bring with them to enhance everyone's work environment. Together, we can gain knowledge and understanding of each other, and build a brighter future through global awareness and common personal ties.

Our Mission Statement

Advance Employment is dedicated to including all persons and cultural aspects to the best of our ability so that all economic and social conditions, under diverse laws, statues, and regulations may come together in the work place under the highest of moral standards and business integrity. With this mission, we can educate others through our actions and personal understanding to spread global awareness and personal decency to those who will take these positive experiences with Advance Employment to all places of the world throughout their life time.

Our Promise

Advance Employment is able to guarantee an average of at least 32 hours per week for the duration of their work term to every J-1 participant with a job agreement through Advance Employment. This is possible through specially tailored annual contracts with various client companies throughout Burlington, Vermont. Advance Employment is not a staffing agency, but a human resource company that holds employment contracts with clients who prefer to outsource their human resource needs in order to save time and cost within their own company.

All Advance Employment employees on the J-1 work program receive equal pay to the resident employees who live permanently in the United States who are performing equivalent job tasks in similar job positions. No Advance Employment employee makes less than $9.00 per hour, and no money is EVER taken out of Advance Employment employee paychecks for any reason (required taxes for federal and state governmentss are taken out in accordance with the law).
